Pension is located in calm environment of the villa quarter approximately 400m from the large golf club (2x18 holes) and about 400m from the Valley Station Areitbahn - Schmittenhöhe. Distance to the Zeller lake and the city centre of Zell am See itself is cca.1,5km. Cycling tracks lead directly around the building. Great starting point of shorter and longer walking trails (in the valleys or on the mountain edges) of all the levels of difficulty (types to the trips: see info types).
In Zell am See itself there are many opportunities of swimming not only in the lake but also in the swimming pool on its shore (stainless steel swimming, water slide, jets…). There are many more opportunities to enjoy sport there: enclosed swimming hall ,indoor or outdoor tennis courts, golf, minigolf, riding hall, horse riding tracks (25km), paragliding, tandem jumps starting from the top of the Schmittenhőhe mountain, terrains for climbing-several levels of difficulty, water skis, sightseeing flights, rental of the rowboat, pedal boots and electric boots. Diving, fishing, canoeing, rafting (Salzach river), toboggan run in Saalfelden .There is a year-round possibility of skiing on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier. Thermal bathing (Tauern Spa in Kaprun, Bad Gastein). Zell am See offers not only beautiful walks round the whole lake and through the city and lake promenade but also sitting in plenty of cafe, sweetshops, bars, restaurants, night clubs, discos and so on…
Marvellous experience is the trip with the cable car up to the Schmittenhőhe Mountain. Up there is a magnificent view on Zell am See, Kitzsteinhorn and Steinmeer.
